What a perfect fall day to visit ann arbor. Alp and I were VERY excited (ok, I was much more excited than Alp) to show Charlie ann arbor & UofM!
started out our tour on the right foot with lunch at zingerman's.. YUM.

our next stop was the diag (the heart of campus) -- here charlie is on his way to class...(superstitious UofM students don't step on the "M" until they've passed their first "blue book" exam.. I wonder if they'll even have "blue books" when charlie goes to school. besides, technically he's crawling...)
he made all of the students smile.
we're already saving for tuition...
janell came to meet us for our walking tour! - we love her. (I used to babysit for her when she was 4 years old and now she's in grad school!)
Next stop: law quad (one of the most beautiful places on campus)
I wonder how these leaves taste?
